When the People fear the Government, you have Tyranny.  When the Government fears the People, you have Liberty.

I'm Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore!

                                                                                                                                              Some of The Issues

Where do we start with the Issues.  If we are going to be effective in our communication with our Elected Officials we will need to limit our issues to ones we believe are the biggest.  This list will be adjusted when the Main web site is constructed to indicate the issues our members believe are the most important.  The following are a few that might be included:

The Fair Tax

Reducing the Size of the Federal Government

Returning to the Foundation of the Constitution

Reducing the Deficit

Cost of Health Care and Nationalized Health Care

Cap and Trade

Value Added Tax

Border Security and Illegal Immigration

Social Security reform

Line Item Veto

Fairness Doctrine

Tort Reform

Using Our Own Energy

Pork Projects

Push Power and Dollars Back to the States to Shrink the Federal Government

Strengthen Our Military

What I Believe:

I believe in the Constitution as the bedrock of our country.

I believe in the intelligence of the American people.

I believe in American business.

I believe in a very small Federal Government.

I believe in States rights.

I believe that God had a powerful hand in founding this country.

I believe that our Country and Freedom are at the point of no return if we do not stand together now.

Our American way of life stands at the brink of destruction.  Destruction from a Government gone wild.  The combination of far left Congressional leaders and a far left President is dragging this country into total dependence on Government.

We have a country that has unemployed citizens in the hundreds of thousands and a debt that is crushing the country and Washington keeps talking about health care and not jobs.  We have elected officials that are not listening to anything we say.  Let’s just say what others don’t want to say.  They are not stupid and are doing this on purpose.  Our President keeps saying that health care costs will rise.  They sure will if business shrinks and more people go without work.  Less people paying premiums the more the insurance companies will have to charge.  The more they have to charge the more the Government can vilify that industry and the sooner they can drive it out of business.  Of course when that happens our wonderful caring Government will step in to save the people. The larger and more oppressive the Government gets the smaller the private sector will get until there is nothing left except Government.

I am sure you have heard Caterpillar’s latest evaluation of what this last expansion of Government, Obamacare, will do to their business.  It will add $100 million to their operating costs, which means they will become less competitive in the global market and incur additional healthcare costs.  All this means they will be selling less, costing them more and will lead to employee layoffs and more people on unemployment.  My wife had a call from an old high school friend that has 10 Subway stores in Georgia and North Carolina.  He has already said he will have to shrink his work force and possibly close some stores.  Again leading to more people on unemployment.  I also understand that many doctors will be retiring earlier than expected because they can’t make the money they should under Obamacare.  I am not looking forward to the day we import all our doctors from other countries. And AT&T has just said Obamacare will cost them an additional $1 billion.  I wonder if they didn’t have to spend that money on Obamacare if they might have used it to open a new factory and hire more people?  And why, now that Health Care has passed, is the President STILL focused on making speeches all over the country about how wonderful it is rather than focusing on JOBS?  At what point do we have enough people out of work that our Government will have to step in and nationalize all business and call it an act of compassion because so many people are suffering?

I believe our Country and people are in grave danger of loosing the freedom our Constitution gives them.

Again I will say, I believe in the American people and their ability to educate themselves on the issues and the Constitution and change this Country from big Government to individual rights and freedom.  Freedom to succeed or fail, not because the Government has decreed your lot in life but because you chose your own path.

Freedoms Hard Road:

Wow!  So many Americans getting involved in our political process.  And so many groups participating.  The Fair Tax, Tea Party, Government Waste and Abuse, Heritage Foundation, GOP, and so many more.  There is energy in this country that has not been felt in many years.  This is what the Founding Fathers envisioned.

But how long will this energy last?  Unfortunately, the American people only have so much.  When they go all in with a group and only see limited success and are asked over and over to rally or march on Washington or send letters and emails and see legislation still moving forward, they start to get frustrated.  The feeling of exhaustion sets in and they start to think, “What’s the use”.  And This is exactly what so many in Government want.  How long has the idea of turning this country into a socialist government been around?  A long time.  And little by little over the years they have been able to move us closer.  The socialist idea never dies and that is the danger.  It can lay dormant for years and then rear its head when conditions are right.  It does not have to fight every day for liberty.  It just has to wait until Freedom is asleep and pounce.

That is the paradox.  The destroyer of Liberty can nibble away over decades at our Constitution and gather the rights of the Citizens unto itself without much notice.  But the free people it seeks to dominate have to be vigilant and fight every day, every week, every month, every year, every decade and every century to remain free.  Freedom sounds simple but in fact takes thousands of times more energy to keep the light burning than it takes the destroyers who can just chip away at the foundation.

The danger is real.  I talk to people every day that want a country filled with jobs but they are tired.  They lack a central force to keep them energized with victories over Governments intrusions.  That is exactly why we need an idea like Take Back Our Freedom to arise.  The idea of gathering six or seven million people to consistently hammer Washington about the ideas this country was founded on is the only way to obtain enough victories to keep them engaged on a daily basis.  All the wonderful groups doing great work actually weaken our ability to take back our Government.  Thirty thousand here, thirty thousand there, occasionally one hundred thousand just dilutes the real numbers of people that want their freedom and jobs back. Throwing these smaller numbers at Washington is like a mosquito biting an elephants butt.  It’s just an annoyance.  But get five or six million people contacting them and now you’ve got the elephant gun that will get their attention.

This country was founded on Freedom.  A big part of that freedom was the freedom to produce something and sell the fruits of you own production at a fair price.  The countries greatness was founded on the production of the people, not the ability of the Government to loot that production and give it to the moochers who have no desire to produce.  But the free people of this country have slowly allowed the Government to do exactly that.  If we fail to provide a vehicle like Take Back Our Freedom because of lack of funds then I believe we doom the people of this country to Tyranny and enslavement to the Government.  Here again, it is We The People, not We The Government.  If we don’t act now………..then when?

And They Tell You The Economy is Getting Better

When they try to convince you that the economy is getting better, ask them these questions....

If the economy is getting better, then why did new home sales in the United States hit a brand new all-time record low during 2011?

If the economy is getting better, then why are there 6 million less jobs in America today than there were before the recession started?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the average duration of unemployment in this country close to an all-time record high?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of homeless female veterans more than doubled?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of Americans on food stamps increased by 3 million since this time last year and by more than 14 million since Barack Obama entered the White House?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of children living in poverty in America risen for four years in a row?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the percentage of Americans living in "extreme poverty" at an all-time high?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the Federal Housing Administration on the verge of a financial collapse?

If the economy is getting better, then why do only 23 percent of American companies plan to hire more employees in 2012?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of self-employed Americans fallen by more than 2 million since 2006?

If the economy is getting better, then why did an all-time record lowpercentage of U.S. teens have a job last summer?

If the economy is getting better, then why does median household income keep declining?  Overall, median household income in the United States has declined by a total of 6.8% since December 2007 once you account for inflation.

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of Americans living below the poverty line increased by 10 million since 2006?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the average age of a vehicle in America now sitting at an all-time high?

If the economy is getting better, then why are 18 percent of all homes in the state of Florida currently sitting vacant?

If the economy is getting better, then why are 19 percent of all American men between the ages of 25 and 34 living with their parents?

If the economy is getting better, then why does the number of "long-term unemployed workers" stay so high?  When Barack Obama first took office, the number of "long-term unemployed workers" in the United States was approximately 2.6 million.  Today, that number is sitting at 5.6 million.

Immigration:  Should we allow immigration to continue if people apply legally or should we legalize people here that came illegally?  Seems like a simple question to us.  Just follow the laws this country has had that allowed legal immigrants to come to this country and make it the greatest on earth.  Why would we reward someone who did something illegal?  Kind of like giving a reward to the guy that just burglerized your home.  Here again, let's get the liberal and conservative crap out of the way.  Let's just look at the laws that have served us well for a very long time.

One of the reasons you want people to apply legally for citizenship is to control the number of people in the country.  We can only support so many people and that is a way to manage our growth.  Another reason is filtering the criminal element out of immigrants.  I don't know about you, but I like the idea of checking a persons background before letting them in.  That just seems like a common sense issue.  How about managing these numbers so we don't overload our health, education and welfare systems?  If we just close our eyes and say "If we catch you here illegally we will just make you a citizen and if we do please vote for us" we might as well open our Country up for everyone to come in.  French, English, Spanish, Al Qaeda, Japanese, Swiss ............ well, you get the idea.  It is Our Country after all.  Not our politicians.  But some of our Elected Officials seem to think that wanting "Legal" immigration is un-American.

You know I keep telling everyone that you can NOT sleep through this next election. This is a big part of the reason. Does this sound like something you wanted you Congressman to vote for???

What Nancy Pelosi didn't want us to know until after the healthcare bill was passed. Remember she said, "pass it first and then read it to find out what is in it!!."

Well, Here is a small part of it!
Obama Care Highlighted by Page Number

Judge Kithil of Marble Falls, TX - highlighted the most egregious pages of HB3200
Please read this........ especially the reference to pages 58 & 59

Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to
all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an
individual's bank account and will have the authority to make
electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the
government) for all union members, union retirees and for
community organizations (such as the Association
of Community Organizations for Reform Now -

Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section
will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their
right mind come up with that?)

Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same
regardless of specialty, and the government will set all
doctors' fees.

Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care
according to the patient's age.

Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on
hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an

Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care
planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be
required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five
years. (Death counseling..)

Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify
which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

HAD ENOUGH???? Judge Kithil then goes on to identify:

"Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to
members of Congress. Members of Congress are already
exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded
private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on
our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick
'fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."

- Honorable David Kithil of Marble Falls , Texas
All of the above should give you the ammo you need to support your opposition to Obamacare. Please send this information on to all of your email contacts.

You can Not sleep through the next election!!!!!!!!! Don

[Author unknown]

This is the most interesting thing I've read in a long time.  The sad thing about it, you can see it coming.
About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier.
A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years.  During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
    1. from bondage to spiritual faith
    2. from spiritual faith to great courage
    3. from courage to liberty
    4. from liberty to abundance
    5. from abundance to complacency
    6. from complacency to apathy
    7. from apathy to dependence
    8. from dependence back into bondage
(We are a Representative Republic but many people use Decomcracy to mean the same thing)

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2009 Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Democrats: 19    Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000    Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million     Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2     Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country.  Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the 'complacency and apathy' phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the 'governmental dependency' phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called 'illegals' and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Pay For Performance:  So now our elected representatives want to set how much Everyone, not just the top executives, should be paid if they take any government funds.  Understand, they are talking about Everyone.  From the CEO to the mail clerk.  And remember, once you give away this much power, how long will it be before the Government will tell all of us how much we can make regardless of government funds being recieved or not.  Since our elected representatives also recieve government money, I wonder if they will also have to adhere to Pay For Performance?  Guess they are in for a Big decrease in their income.

Well, I Guess I'm a Right Wing Terroist:  I just read the Homeland Security document on Rightwing Extremism (link below).  I do like the idea of limited Federal Government.  I do like the idea of the States and Counties having more power rather than the Federal Government.  I also like the idea of sealing the borders to stop illegal immigration.  According to their document, those are some of the views they are looking for.  Darn!!! Caught again.
